Clark Moving and Storage, Inc. was established in May of 1985 as the local agent for Mayflower Transit Company. Mayflower Transit was founded in 1927 and is one of the nation’s oldest and largest moving companies. Clark Moving and Storage, Inc. operates as its’ own entity in New York State under the authority of the NYS DOT #T-10965. Kathy and Rich Clark began their business from scratch with 3 employees and an empty 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Today they own a full 102,000 sq. ft. office and warehouse on 24 acres. There is a certified scale on site to weigh the trucks as well a truck repair garage to keep their vehicles maintained.

In 1993 Katherine Clark was recognized as the SBA’s Small Business Person of the year. In 2007, she was presented the Women of Distinction Award by NYS Senator Jim Alesi for her dedication and commitment to the local community.
